Help us tell the stories of Tampa Bay's Hometown Heroes
We're looking for everyday people who help others in ways big and small, motivated only by kindness and a desire to make our community a better place. Past heroes have included a woman who bakes brownies to raise money for a TV in a children's nursing home, a teacher who invites an autistic former student to family holidays, and a neighbor with a fear of birds who volunteers to care for a sick friend's parrots. We're looking for good stories about good people in the Tampa Bay area. Submit your nominee's name and a brief description of his or her selfless acts through this form or mail to Hometown Hero, Tribune Newsroom, P.O. Box 191, Tampa, FL, 33601.
