After waking up to temperatures in the 40s Friday morning, Tampa Bay residents can expect conditions to rapidly climb to the mid 70s by the early afternoon.
Clear skies and ample sunshine give temperatures a big boost before a few clouds — which won't pack any rain — move in late in the day, according to 10Weather WTSP meteorologist Ashley Batey.
The dry weather will be put on hold Saturday, as showers and storms arrive in the afternoon, mainly after 3 p.m., Batey said.
Highs on Saturday will reach the mid-70s, Batey said, before a mainly dry Sunday reaches highs near 80.
