PALM COAST – A man described as being dressed like “Rambo” is in a central Florida jail after entering a lounge with an assault rifle and two hunting knives and challenging customers. The man was restrained and rendered unconscious by patrons before police arrived.
Palm Coast resident Daniel Allen Noble, 37, was peacefully drinking at the Europa Lounge when he left and returned armed around 11:30 p.m. Saturday with what was described as an Uzi-style assault rifle and two large hunting knives holstered on each side, according to the Mayport Mirror. Two customers engaged Noble and forced the barrel of the rifle toward the ground, where two shots were fired. The men were able to get the rifle away from Noble, but he was still able to cut them.
Vassili Mironov, 28, of Palm Coast, was stabbed near the left eye and received cuts to his left and right hands, according to the Mirror. Mironov was treated and released from Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach. Roman Dubinsechi, 23, also of Palm Coast, received cuts to one of his arms and refused medical treatment, the sheriff’s office said.
Noble had been drinking at the bar earlier, and appeared to be having a good time, the sheriff’s office said. He was not causing any problems with either employees or patrons at that point.
Noble is being held on charges of attempted murder, two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. He is being held on $400,000 bond.
