A group including some 200 men in high heels joined the sixth annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes march Thursday at the University of South Florida.
The event draws attention to the scourge of violence against women. USF athletes, fraternity members and male faculty donned stilettos and stumbled their way around the Marshall Student Center.
They also took a pledge to stand up against violence and heard guest speaker Melissa Dohme, a domestic violence survivor who was stabbed more than 30 times by an ex-boyfriend in 2012.
