Starting next month, Hillsborough County School Board meetings will begin at 3 p.m.
Currently, meeting times alternate between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The board, which meets for regular meetings twice monthly, voted Tuesday night to make the change, which starts with the March 18 meeting.
Recognition meetings will still begin at 5:30 p.m.
Community members will get a chance to give public comments immediately following administrative appointments, which are made toward the beginning of each meeting.
All board meetings are held in the Raymond O. Shelton School Administrative Center auditorium, 901 E. Kennedy Blvd.
Agendas are posted on the school board’s website the week before each meeting.
