Tampa woman's body found in Ga. river; Plant City man arrested
MCRAE, Ga. - A Plant City man is charged with killing a Tampa woman whose body was found in the Ocmulgee River in Georgia. Telfair County Sheriff Chris Steverson announced today that the victim has been identified as 64-year-old Judy Larue Morrow of Tampa. She had been shot in the head. The sheriff said 25-year-old Joshua Lamar Helton of Plant City was taken into custody Friday on a murder warrant. He said Helton had known Morrow and her family for some time and they had once been neighbors. Fisherman found the woman's body near a boat landing Thursday morning.Helton is being held at the Hillsborough County Jail without bail.
