Tampa police looking for Dollar General robber

TAMPA - Police detectives are looking for a man who used a knife while robbing a Dollar General store early Sunday. About 8 a.m., the man was in the store, at 3966 W. Hillsborough Ave., a few minutes prior to the robbery, looked around and left, police said. The man returned to the register with a candy bar. When the clerk opened the cash register, the man pulled out a knife and reached into the register and took money, police said. He then walked around the register and took more money, police said. The robber fled on a women's mountain bike.
A surveillance video shows the man riding by the front of the store on the bicycle, entering the store and robbing the business. Anyone with information was asked to call police at (813) 231-6130.
