Suspects in Tampa attempted murder sought
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has released photos of two men they say are suspected in an attempted murder. About 5:25 p.m. March 27, two black men forced their way into the victim's apartment at 40Fifty Lofts, 4050 Rocky Circle, Tampa. One man pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded property. He then ordered the victim to lie on the floor and used a large knife to slice his throat, causing a 5-inch laceration. The suspects then removed the property from his person and began to stomp on the back of his head. When the victim attempted to defend himself, one of the suspects stabbed him in the chest with a knife. The suspects then fled westbound on foot from the apartment. The victim was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital, where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.The first suspect is 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall, 18 to 24 years old, with a medium build and black hair. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, dark jeans, a baseball cap and sunglasses and was carrying a black bookbag. The second suspect was 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall, 18 to 24 years old, with a medium build and black hair. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, a black vest, dark jeans and sunglasses.
