A man wanted in connection with a Monday bank robbery has been arrested, said police, who are seeking a person of interest in the same case.
Julio Santiago-Ortiz, 42, was arrested Tuesday at his home, 5147 Greenwood St. and charged in the robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank, 6604 Massachusetts Ave. He is being held at the Pasco County Jail with bail set at $250,000, according to jail records.
Police said Ortiz was the driver of the getaway vehicle, his 1995 Honda Accord.
Police are looking for Pascual Carlos Pietri, 52, whom they call a person of interest. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Sgt. Mike Anderson at (727) 841-4550.
