The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said it is asking for the public’s help in locating a 16-year-old Lutz boy who went missing late Wednesday and may be in danger.
The parents of Elijah Aleem Hosein, of 19411 Wingrove Lane, discovered their son left home in his car about 11 p.m., deputies said.
The parents also found a note left by Elijah indicating he may harm himself, deputies said.
Elijah is known to frequent downtown Tampa’s Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park and Channel District, deputies said.
He was described by deputies as 6 feet 2 inches tall and 150 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. His car is a beige 2002 Honda Accord, with temporary tag BFB0318.
