Largo store owner charged with selling Spice
A Largo CD store owner was arrested and charged today for selling Spice, the Largo Police Department said today. Detectives from the department's Special Operations Unit and Investigative Services Division served a warrant this afternoon at Smokin' CD's, 2865 East Bay Drive. The warrant was the result of a month and a half-long investigation that began based on information received by the Special Operations Unit about sales of synthetic marijuana at the business. William Zaharoff, 70, owner of the business, was charged with two counts of sales of Schedule 1 substances and two counts of possession of Schedule 1 substances. Additional substances seized will be tested, which could lead to more charges, the department said.
