K-9 unit tracks down fleeing suspect in Carrollwood
A K-9 unit tracked down a Carrollwood man who fled from deputies who were trying to arrest him this afternoon, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said. About 1:25 p.m., deputies went to the home of James G. Lamderton, 41, 210475 Carrollbrook Circle, Apt. 219, on outstanding warrants aggravated assault domestic violence and battery. When deputies located Lamderton, he fled on foot, deputies said. Deputies and a K-9 unit were dispatched to the area, and the K-9 unit tracked the suspect to an unoccupied residence at 10610 Ibex Sreet where he was found hiding in the bathroom, deputies said. The suspect was taken into custody. Lamderton was taken to Orient Road Jail, where in addition to the charges on the original warrants he now faces two counts of resist without violence and burglary of a residence.
