Deputies: Tampa couple left toddler in car for eight hours
A couple faces aggravated child neglect charges after Hillsborough County sheriff’s deputies said they left their 23-month-old son in a parked car for eight hours.
Deputies said Alexander Rosario, 27, and Douceaymee Lopez-Alvarez, 26, both of Tampa, left the child strapped in a car seat April 16.
The boy was hospitalized, treated and released, then placed in the care of the Child Protective Investigations Division along with his siblings.
The parents were arrested Thursday.
