Deputies: Missing Tampa boy, 11, may be with mom

Hillsborough County sheriff’s detectives are trying to find an 11-year-old boy who was signed out of school by his mother in November and not seen since.

Domenico Pandolfo, a student at Pizzo Elementary in Tampa, was believed to be out of state with his mother, 42-year-old Merrilee MacArthur, and her boyfriend, 36-year-old James Dupree.

McArthur and her husband were in the process of getting a divorce, and the court awarded full custody of Domenico to his father, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.

On Nov. 14, MacArthur went to Pizzo and signed her son out of school, investigators said.

The father told deputies he believes Domenico, MacArthur and Dupree have traveled out of the state.

Domenico was described as white, 5 feet tall and 105 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair.

MacArthur was described as white, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Dupree was described as black, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 195 pounds, with brown hair and black hair.

Anyone with any information was asked to call the sheriff’s office at (813) 247-8200. To remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477), go to www.crimestopperstb.com or text “CSTB” with the tip to CRIMES (274637).
