Belleair bank robbery suspect sought
Crime Stoppers of Pinellas County is seeking the public's help to identify a man who robbed a Belleair bank last week. At 10:52 a.m. Wednesday, the suspect entered Fifth-Third Bank, 601 Indian Rocks Road N., Belleair, and gave a teller a note demanding cash. The teller put the cash, which contained a dye pack, on the counter, and the suspect placed it in his left pocket as he exited the bank. The suspect is a white male, approximately 5-foot-8 with a thin build, and was wearing a teal, black, and white plaid shirt with a T-shirt underneath and khaki pants. He also had dreadlocks, which appeared to be a wig, and was wearing a happy face "doo-rag" on his head. He was last seen riding a blue or blue and silver bicycle eastbound on Wildwood Road towards the Pinellas Trail.Surveillance images show the same man entered the bank on June 21 wearing no disguise.
