Alonso High locked down, teen arrested after text threat
An 18-year-old student was arrested and Alonso High School placed on modified lockdown after death threats were sent to another student today, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said. Michael James Alessandrini, 6700 N. Rome Ave., threatened the victim via text and voice mail messages, deputies said. The school was placed on modified lockdown until deputies came in contact with the suspect about 12:30 p.m. and took him into custody. Alessandrini was charged with sending written threats. He remains in jail with bail set at $7,500, according to the jail website.
