An attorney who prosecuted Casey Anthony is back in the courtroom in central Florida for the first time since the Orlando mother was acquitted on charges of killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee.

This time, Jeff Ashton is representing his 21-year-old son Alexander Ashton on DUI charges. A six-member jury was selected Monday and the trial is set to begin Thursday in Seminole County.

The Orlando Sentinel reports Ashton wrote in a state that he's defending his son because he believes in his "right to have his day in court like any other citizen."

Alexander Ashton was arrested Oct. 25 with a breath-alcohol test twice the legal limit.

Anthony was released from prison is July. Ashton wrote a book, "Imperfect Justice: Prosecuting Casey Anthony," which was released in November.
