USF Sun Dome to fill 200 part-time positions
TAMPA - The Sun Dome, which is in the final stages of a $35 million renovation on the University of South Florida campus, plans to fill about 200 part-time positions in the coming weeks. The arena will hire event staff, change-over crew members and others positions, the arena said in a Twitter posting. The jobs offer minimum pay and are open to students and the general public. Those interested should email arena events manager Lamar Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org.The 32-year-old facility is slated to reopen in April after a 10-month overhaul. The first event will be graduation May 4 and 5. The venue also hosts USF basketball games, concerts and other events. Among the upgrades are additional seating and a concourse with new bathrooms and concession areas. The renovation also includes a new club area, luxury boxes, entrances, sound system and a center-hung scoreboard.
