By Tuesday morning, it was starting to look more like business as usual at shopping centers across Tampa Bay.
Publix Supermarkets were opening their doors Tuesday morning, with large green semi-trucks arriving to replenish supplies. Winn-Dixie, Walgreens and Walmart stores are opening on a case-by-case basis, but some were expected to open Tuesday in Pinellas, Pasco and Hillsborough counties if they had power, officials said.

Walmart is also keeping track of store openings online here.. According to the latest map, most Walmart stores are still closed in the Tampa Bay area. A supercenter on Gunn Highway in Citrus Park is open. Two supercenters in Brandon are in "recovery", which means associates are returning to work there today and are prepping the stores to reopen soon, said company spokesman Ragan Dickens. About a dozen more in Tampa, St. Petersburg, Palm Harbor, Pinellas Park, New Port Richey and Gibsonton are also in recovery as of Tuesday morning. More stores are expected to open as soon as they have more supplies and power to the buildings, Dickens said.
