TAMPA — A mentorship program to help entrepreneurs take their tech startups to the next level is now taking applications. But the deadline is fast-approaching.
There are only a few days left to apply for Tampa Bay WaVE’s FirstWaVE Accelerator, a business accelerator program focused on early stage technology startups. The cutoff for applications is Wednesday, July 30 at 5 p.m.
Tampa Bay WaVE provides local entrepreneurs and their tech ventures with access to the resources, education, expertise, talent and capital designed to help create innovation-based companies.
“Our Build, Launch, Grow model allows startups to get customized resources and support they need at the appropriate stage of development so they can get to market faster,” WaVE said in a press release. Some 30 companies have already collectively raised over $8 million in capital for their business ventures, with help from Tampa Bay WaVE.
Applications for the program can be filled out on line.
