Bright House glitch overcharges 3,000 Florida customers

Bright House Networks says a glitch at a third-party billing contractor led to multiple, erroneous charges in the bank accounts of about 3,000 customers in Florida.

Executives with the cable provider say customers don’t need to take any action to fix the glitch. Bright House is reversing the charges, and will pay for any overdraft charges that occurred due to the problem.
