This will have a positive impact on Tampa’s economy and our business ties throughout the Americas."
The additional service begins July 14. They flights depart at 9:10 a.m. in Panama and arrive in Tampa at 1:30 p.m. They depart Tampa at 3:09 p.m. and arrived at 5:33 p.m. in Panama.
The airline also announced that it would increase from four to five flights a week between Panama and Fort Lauderdale.
"We are constantly seeking opportunities to offer our passengers more flight options," said Copa Airlines CEO Pedro Heilbron. "This dedication ... led us to evaluate every route and examine the possibility of increasing flight frequency. We see potential in these markets as demand has increased over this past year."
