Domino’s lifts curtain on ‘pizza theater’ in Lutz

LUTZ — Domino’s new ‘pizza theater’ store recently opened in Lutz, just outside of the Ballantrae subdivision.

The store features the open-concept pizza theater design which offers viewing of the food preparation process.

There is also a comfortable lobby, indoor seating, free Wi-Fi, a drive-thru for carryout orders and the ability to track carryout orders electronically on a lobby screen.

"We are excited to bring the first pizza theater store to Lutz," said Jerry Longen, Lutz Domino’s franchise owner. "The pizza theater design is an interactive experience where customers can actually watch and track their pizza being made, each step of the way.

"Domino’s is bringing the art and fun of pizza making to the forefront."

Longen began working at Domino’s as a part-time pizza maker in 1987. He worked his way up and became a franchisee in 1998 and now owns six locations throughout the greater Tampa area.

Domino’s is located at 17792 Aprile Drive. It is open 10 a.m. to midnight Sunday-Thursday and 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday. To place an order, call (813) 670-2424, or visit dominos.com.
