7 are finalists for Entrepreneur of the Year
TAMPA - Seven leaders of Tampa Bay-area companies are in the running for an Entrepreneur of the Year Award from Ernst & Young. Every year, the global accounting and consulting firm sponsors an awards competition honoring entrepreneurs that innovate, succeed financially and show a commitment to their business and community. Regional winners move on to compete at the national level, a news release said Tuesday. Award recipients from Florida will be announced at an event in Miami Beach on June 13. Seven companies from the Bay area were among 10 West Central Florida companies selected as finalists for the competition. They are: Crystal Morris, president of Gator Cases of Lutz; Michael Kosloske, president and chief executive officer of Health Insurance Innovations of Tampa; Trevor Burgess, chief executive officer of C1 Bank of St. Petersburg; Enrique Silva, president and chief executive officer of Checkers Drive-In Restaurants of Tampa; Crystal Culbertson, chief executive officer of Crystal Clear Technologies of St. Petersburg; Paul Demirdjian, chief executive officer of Jagged Peak of Tampa; and Dan Doyle Jr., president and chief executive officer of DEX Imaging of Tampa.
