Police: Sarasota woman bites another woman's ear during argument
A Sarasota woman has been charged with felony aggravated battery after police say she bit another woman's ear during an argument. Police responding to Fredd Atkins Park on Wednesday at about 1:30 p.m., in reference to a report of a battery, found 38-year-old Linda Watkins, of Sarasota, with a severe bite to her left ear. Watkins told officers that she and Kesha Taylor, 32, of Sarasota, had become involved in a dispute over a phone when it became physical. Taylor has been charged with felony aggravated battery after police say she bit Watkins' ear, causing great bodily harm, permanent disability or permanent disfigurement.
