As cool, dreary and drizzly as today promises to be, the Tampa Bay area will rebound with what is shaping up to be an ideal spring-like weekend.
After a chilly morning, clouds will linger throughout the day, with light drizzle and highs only reaching the low-60s, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said.
The clouds will begin to clear tonight, but the cold front will produce a cold night, with lows dropping into the mid-40s — and even chillier in northern areas.
The region will gradually warm starting on Friday. Highs will reach around 70 on Friday, but under sunny skies that will remain in effect through the weekend. Highs by Sunday will climb back into around 80.
