Bradenton Beach police to reopen mysterious death case
BRADENTON - Bradenton Beach police have agreed to reopen the 4-year-old investigation into the death of Sheena Morris, which was ruled a suicide in 2009. Police chief Sam Speciale told the Sarasota Herald-Tribune on Friday that the department will follow recommendations of a panel of police experts that was convened by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. An FDLE agent will assist police officials. Morris' mother, Kelly Osborn, has maintained that her daughter was murdered and that her body was posed to make it look like she hanged herself.
