An Oldsmar cheerleading coach charged this week with sending explicit images to a minor now faces additional sexual battery charges.
Victor Martin Valenty, 28, is accused of having "inappropriate sexual activity" with a 15-year-old at his home for more than six months, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office. Valenty met the victim through his job at Storm All Stars Cheer and Dance in Brandon.
Valenty faces four counts of sexual battery. Those charges join 10 counts brought this week in Hillsborough County of traveling to meet a minor, distributing obscene material to a minor, unlawful use of a two-way communication device and obscene communication allowing the use of computer pornography.
The sheriff’s offices did not identify the victim or victims in either case.
