TAMPA HEIGHTS— Graze 1910 upholds the comfortable and relaxing, yet elegant setting of Armature Works with its "comfort food" offerings and dedication to serving breakfast all day.
"It’s the way I eat. I graze all day," said owner Raymond "Ray" Menendez when he shared his inspiration behind the name of the eatery.
The 1910 was added because it was the year the building was built and is a part of the address of the eatery which sits at the Heights Public Market at Armature Works, located at 1910 N Ola Ave.
After more than 10 years in the restaurant business serving as a managing partner with Ciccio Restaurant Group and contributing significantly to its popular Soho presence, Menendez decided it was time to do something on his own.
So, he brought his experience to Tampa Heights and opened Graze 1910 to create a place where people can feel comfortable, relax, eat a great meal and enjoy their day along with the other festivities at Armature Works.
"This is what Tampa needed to rejuvenate downtown." said Menendez
Its location allows for good eating, fun and scenic views of the downtown Tampa skyline on the Hillsborough River.
Some of their signature items include Chicken and Waffles — homemade waffles that are served classic, citrus glazed or with fruit, classic egg dishes and tartines like the avocado egg salad or the Byo Bowl with three eggs, a base, one protein, cheese and veggies, and its artisan cheese-topped burgers.
Prices are inexpensive ranging from $6 to $12.
Graze 1910 opened in early February and operates from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
