Website: Winter to return in 'Dolphin Tale' sequel

Winter the dolphin may be heading back to the big screen. The Hollywood Reporter website is reporting a sequel to "A Dolphin Tale," which told the story of a dolphin who lost its tail getting an prosthetic one at Clearwater Marine Aquarium, is in the works. According to the website, "Dolphin Tale 2" would involve Winter and her new tankmate Hope, a dolphin calf found in the Indian River Lagoon on Florida's east coast on the night filming wrapped on the original movie. Plans are to have the dolphins play themselves in the film. The human stars of the first film, including Harry Connick Jr., Ashley Judd, Morgan Freeman and Kris Kristofferson, are in negotiations to return, the website said.
The original "A Dolphin Tale" made $95 million, the website said. Warner Bros. has set a Sept. 19, 2014, release date for the sequel.
