306-308 W. Robertson St., Brandon, 1965 and 2013
Do you want the lights on or off? In 1965, the 300-seat theater at 306 W. Robertson St. provided a darkened escape for movie aficionados in the area. Today, a variety of chandeliers, lamps and other light fixtures illuminate the 7,000-square-foot space, which has been the home of Brandon Lighting, 308 W. Robertson St., since 2009. Owner Paula Shears was also in charge of the business between 2000 and 2005, when it was known as Lumenair Lighting and Fans.
