Sunday will be very similar to Saturday, with plenty of heat, moisture and instability to make for a very stormy afternoon.
Today’s storms will occur a bit earlier in the day due to a stronger east coast sea breeze, said News Channel 8 meteorologist Bryan Bennett.
The beach day may be cut a bit short today because of the more rapid westward progression of these storms, Bennett said. Look for those storms to pick up around 2 p.m., he said.
Rain chances will remain around 60 percent with a high near 90 degrees.
Monday will dry out a little, with rain changes around 30 percent.
