Tropical depression 13 has formed several hundred miles east-southeast of Bermuda, according to the National Weather Service.
The agency said the storm is no threat to Florida as it heads east from Bermuda.
The storm, located at 28.0 north and 55.1 west, is moving northeast at 8 mph. It has sustained winds of 25 mph.
The weather service reminds residents that hurricane season does not end until Nov. 30.
