The Tampa area will remain warm Sunday with mostly sunny skies and a high near 88. The wind might give the area a break from the heat with a light breeze from the west-southwest near 9 to 14 mph, with gusts up to 20 mph.
The low tonight will be around 70.
The next few days will be copies of each other with the highs Monday through Wednesday in the upper 80s and the lows in the lower 70s.
Thursday will remain warm with a high near 86 and a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. The chance of rain increases to 30 percent that night with a low 68.
The 30 chance of rain remains in effect for Friday and Saturday, along with partly sunny skies and a high in the mid-80s. The low Thursday will be near 68, then it falls to 64 on Friday and 61 for Saturday.
