SPIRIT OF MOTHERHOOD: Spirit of Life Unitarian Universalists, 18412 Burrell Road, Odessa, will celebrate moms during the 11 a.m. service Sunday.

"VOWS OF SILENCE": Voice of the Faithful, a Catholic lay group that seeks to involve more parishioners in church leadership, will show a DVD, "Vows of Silence: The Arrogance of Power," and discuss a review of the corollary book during its meeting from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Educational Building, 16650 U.S. 301 S., Wimauma.
