ABC celebrates anniversary with sale, store party

The Animal Based Charities Thrift Store in South Tampa is celebrating four years supporting rescue groups and there's going to be a party.

On Friday, Aug. 29 the thrift store, located at 4465 W. Gandy Blvd. # 315, Tampa, will be hosting a day-long celebration.

There will be free refreshments all day at the event as well as a 50/50 cash raffle and several prize raffles. The store will open at 10 a.m. and stay open later, until 8 p.m., on that day.

From 5 until 8 p.m. the entire store, which includes housewares, clothing, pet items, toys and other items will be on sale for half price.

In addition to giving away of 100,000 lbs. of pet food to local rescues, the charity has aided rescue groups place over 4,500 animals and raised over $600,000 through events since their inception.

The store is located on the north side of the shopping plaza, next door to the Youfit Health Club.
