Counselors from the West Central Florida Area Agency on Aging’s SHINE program are holding Tampa-area workshops through the fall to help educate seniors about their options for Medicare open enrollment, which runs from Oct. 15 to Dec. 7.
Though the enrollment period is open only to those already signed up for Medicare, residents nearing their 65th birthday also may benefit from the events. For more information, call the West Central Florida Area Agency on Aging helpline at (800) 963-5337.
