Goodwill celebrates grand opening
TRINITY - Goodwill Industries recently celebrated the grand opening of its eighth superstore, this one located in Trinity. A line of more than 100 customers waiting for the doors to open on June 15 wrapped around the side of the building. The first 200 were welcomed into the new store with gifts and door busters. The Trinity store offers goods at moderate prices. When asked why people shop at Goodwill, Chris Ward, the director of marketing, said: "Bargains. It's a treasure hunt." Racks and shelves line the floor of the store, and enormous displays showcase everything from clothes to mattresses. The store is stocked with new and used products. One of the main features is the drive-through donation lane. This allows people to easily drop off items they no longer use and want to donate. The Trinity Goodwill superstore is at 11462 State Road 54, at the intersection of Corporate Center Drive. The hours are from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
