Active duty military are admitted free when they visit the Florida Holocaust Museum in St. Petersburg.
Regular daily admission is $16 for adults, $14 for seniors and $10 for college students. Students under age 18 pay $8. Children 6 and under are admitted free.
Admission includes free parking when available and a free audio tour.
Military members just need to present valid identification at the ticket window to redeem the offer.
The museum houses original artifacts, historical photographs and documents to tell the story of the Holocaust with emphasis on local survivors. It is also home to the permanent exhibition, “Kaddish in Wood: Woodcarvings by Dr. Herbert Savel.” The carvings are images of French children who were victims of the Holocaust.
The venue also includes galleries which house traveling exhibits.
The museum is located at 55 Fifth St. S., St. Petersburg.
