Blue Star Museums program treats military to free admission

The Blue Star Museum program is an annual appreciation event honoring military families by offering free admission to various museums across the country.
In the Tampa Bay area, there are several options that active duty military and their immediate family members can enjoy.
The offer is good through Labor Day 2013 and valid military ID is required. Other restrictions may apply according to the individual attraction's rules. Contact the museum you are interested in visiting before attending.
MOSI - The Museum of Science and Industry is a favorite with children and is offering free admission to its permanent exhibits. Offer not valid for Sea Monsters Revealed, IMAX films, or the Ropes Course and Zip Line. http://mosi.org
  Henry B. Plant Museum - This National Historic Landmark shines with Moorish architecture, opulent furnishings and tropical gardens. This celebrated hotel attracted a host of famous guests including Teddy Roosevelt, Sarah Bernhardt and Babe Ruth. http://www.plantmuseum.com/
