Tampa will be hopping with Easter egg hunts, family events


♦ Egg Hunt at the Museum: Enjoy a light breakfast and meet the Easter Bunny before hunting for more than 5,000 eggs, with the hunts broken up into two groups, one for ages 3 and younger , the other for hunters 4 and older; 8:30 a.m. Saturday; $12: Glazer Children’s Museum, 110 W. ♦ Dog Easter Egg Hunt: The Easter Bunny will help dogs hunt for special eggs hidden in the play yard, while kids can do crafts and hunt for eggs in the Rabbit Resort; dog hunts are 11;30 a.m., noon, 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday, kids hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday; $5; Humane Society of Tampa Bay, 3607 N. ♦ Underwater Egg Hunt and Spring Festival: Kids celebrate the Easter holiday by hopping into the pool and swimming or diving for colored eggs (bring mesh bags to carry the eggs).
