Nuclear Cowboyz returns to Tampa with new storyline
The Nuclear Cowboyz motocross show is returning to Tampa for three performances at the Forum Feb. 21 to 23. The tour will have all the usual high-flying dirt bike stunts and pyrotechnics set to a heavy metal, dubstep and hip-hop soundtrack, plus new elements added to celebrate the tour's fifth anniversary, according to a news release from the Forum. Joining the tour for the first time will be the Shaolin Kung Fu Warriors, who will push their bodies to bend metal rods, break objects with precise strikes and get lifted into into the air on the points of handheld spears, the announcement said. The show will also feature a completely new storyline and the return of 15-time X-Games medalist Jeremy "Twitch" Stenberg after a four-year hiatus."We are taking Nuclear Cowboyz to a whole new level in 2014 for the tour's fifth anniversary," Juliette Feld, executive vice president of Feld Entertainment, said in a statement. "For the first time ever, the show will feature incredible acts of athleticism and bravery from the Shaolin Kung Fu Warriors alongside an award-winning cast of world's most decorated freestyle athletes defying the laws of physics. Together, they are taking what's humanly possible to the limit." Tickets, priced from $10 to $100, go on sale Friday at Ticketmaster outlets, the Forum box office at 401 Channelside Drive or by calling 1-800-745-3000.
