Country music star Josh Turner is coming to Tampa, but if you want to see him it's going to cost you.
Turner is booked for the Cattle Baron's Ball of Tampa Bay, the annual high-society, Western-themed gala set for Feb. 28 at the Forum, organizers announced Thursday.
Tickets to the American Cancer Society fundraiser start at $1000 per couple, and prices range as high as $25,000 to reserve a 10-person VIP table.
The ball, known for attracting social, philanthropic, business and community leaders from around the Tampa Bay area, raised more than $1 million to benefit American Cancer Society programs in 2013, a Forum news release said.
Turner has sold more than three million albums since his debut, “Long Black Train,” in 2003. His most recent release, 2012's “Punching Bag,” hit No. 1 on the Billboard country charts.
More ticket information is available at cattlebaronsballtampa.org or by calling (813) 319-5904.
Turner will be back in the area March 3 to perform at the Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City.
