Fleetwood Mac will be fully intact for the first time in 16 years when the band returns to Tampa this winter.
Singer/keyboardist Christine McVie announced this morning she’d officially rejoined the band on NBC’s “Today,” reuniting Fleetwood Mac’s most successful lineup in its long history.
McVie will join Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks when they embark on a 33-city U.S. tour which has its final scheduled stop in Tampa at the Forum on Dec. 20.
Tickets for the On With the Show Tour go on sale April 7 at 10 a.m. through livenation.com and the live nation mobile app. Prices will range from $49.50 to $179.50.
McVie joined the band onstage at the O2 Arena in London during their 2013 tour to perform “Don’t Stop.”
“It was so comfortable being back onstage with them as if no time had passed, and then we all started talking and it feels like the time is right. I’m really happy,” McVie said in a statement.
McVie told “Today” host Carson Daly that she’d stopped touring with the band due to a fear of flying.
Fleetwood Mac last played the Forum in June.
