Chappelle adds second Clearwater show after first sells out

Didn’t get a ticket for comedian Dave Chappelle at Ruth Eckerd Hall when they went on sale today? You have a second chance.

The comedian, best known for “Chappelle’s Show,” has added a 10 p.m. show on Dec. 17. A 7:30 p.m. show, which was only announced on Wednesday, sold out quickly.

According to the theater in Clearwater, Chappelle sold out three performances there in 2006. His current tour is limited to only 10 cities.

“Chappelle’s Show” ran from 2003-06. On the sketch show, he did biting impressions of Rick James and Prince as well as poking fun of racial issues. Since then, he produced and starred in the movie “Dave Chappelle’s Block Party” and performed stand-up comedy nationwide.
