Tampa will host two, separate home shows over the Labor Day weekend, each offering up hundreds of booths worth of home improvement ideas, products and advice. They offer a fun, air-conditioned way to spend an afternoon, whether you’re looking to fantasize about your dream house, or actually ready to tackle a new project.
At the Tampa Convention Center, the free Tampa Home and Garden Show will offer fans a chance to meet John Godwin from A&E reality series “Duck Dynasty.” Chef and cookbook author Warren Caterson will also appear.
At the Florida State Fairgrounds, visitors can see a scale model of downtown Tampa constructed from more than a million Lego bricks at the Florida’s Largest Home Show. New this year is the indoor, electric go-kart course, where guests can race against the clock for a chance at prizes. Everyone gets 10 free laps.
Admission at the Florida State Fairgrounds is free on Friday and $8 for adults on Saturday through Monday.
Both home shows run Friday through Monday.
