Scottish actor Richard Madden, best known for playing Robb Stark on HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” will be among the mutants, zombie hunters and superheroes visiting Tampa this summer.
Madden has joined the lineup of celebrity guests who will meet fans and take part in panels at Tampa Bay Comic Con, running Aug. 1 to 3 at the Tampa Convention Center, organizers said.
Madden is also set to play Prince Charming in the upcoming Disney film “Cinderella,” which comes out in 2015.
Previously announced Comic Con guests include Evan Peters, who plays Quiksilver in “X-Men: Days of Future Past” and is a regular on FX’s “American Horror Story,” Caity Lotz (“Arrow”), Chloe Bennet (“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”) and Brighton Sharbino (“The Walking Dead”).
Photos and autographs with the actors will range from $30 to $40 each.
Comic book artist guests attending the convention will include Dave DeVries (“Fleer Ultra, “Monster Engine”), Mike Grell (“Green Arrow,” “Iron Man”) and Rev. Dave Johnson (“100 Bullets,” “Deadpool,” “Captain America”).
Tampa Bay Comic Con drew close to 20,000 visitors in 2013, the first year it moved from a smaller venue into a 75,000-square-foot space in the convention center.
Single-day tickets for this year’s convention are $20. A pass for all three days is $45. Tickets are on sale now through tampabaycomiccon.com.
