It will be nostalgia overload as Journey and the Steve Miller Band hit the MidFlorida Amphitheatre stage on March 14.
And no, Steve Perry, will not be with them.
Tower of Power also is on the bill.
Journey and Steve Miller Band combined have sold more than 100 million albums. It’s also the 30th anniversary of Journey’s seminal anthem, “Don’t Stop Believin’.”
“We are all so looking forward to playing again for you in with the great company of the Steve Miller Band and Tower of Power,” the band said in a news release. “It’s going to be a San Francisco musical delight from the past and present, moving full speed ahead into the future!”
The Steve Miller Band’s musical career has spanned 40 years and its trademark blues-rock has made Miller a defining artist of classic rock radio.
Tickets to the show are $31 to $135, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster.com and the amphitheatre box office or by phone at (855) 456-2849.
