Busch Gardens has revealed some of the new frights coming to its annual Howl-O-Scream after-hours event this Halloween season.
The attraction will take on the theme “Cursed” when it returns to the Tampa theme park Thursday through Saturday nights from Oct. 2 to Nov. 1 from 7:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
The new storyline revolves around “a sinister song in perfect pitch,” which “curses all who hear its tormenting tempo.”
Here are the new attractions as the park described them in its announcement:
♦ Dead Fall – “The ghosts of long lost memories reach into the present and will NOT be forgotten! These spirits from the past lurk in the shadows of this Victorian garden and greenhouse, longing to drag unsuspecting guests into their world.”
♦ Slash Mobs – “Even sidewalks aren’t safe from roaming slash mobs creeping throughout Busch Gardens’ overgrown 300 acres of fright.”
♦Cursed Front Gate Experience – “The curse begins from the moment you enter the terrorizing gates of Howl-0-Scream 2014. There’s no escaping the evil spirts or spine-chilling song that seeps from the old music boxes and radios, cursing all who hear it. The only way to silence the curse is to survive the night with undead creatures and paranormal terrors.”
Those new attractions will join returning favorites with new updates, including haunted houses Death Water Bayou, Blood Asylum and Zombie Mortuary.
General admission to Howl-O-Scream is $89. The park is also bringing back it’s “freaky preview” event, with discounted admission to an early preview of Howl-O-Scream on Sept. 26 and 27.
