Bollywood may be invading Tampa, but Hollywood will also be joining the IIFA celebrations. Actor John Travolta will make an appearance at the Awards. He will be bestowed the “Most Popular All time International Star in India” honor at the ceremony April 26 at Raymond James Stadium.
Kevin Spacey will be part of an IIFA Master Class Panel with dignitaries from Indian cinema and Hollywood to share insights and opinions relating to film. Indian cinema’s powerhouse of talent, Vidya Balan, will preside over the invitation only session.
And the stars have begun to make their descent, heartthrob and Awards host Shahid Kapoor and nominee Vivek Oberoi landed in Tampa Monday afternoon. Other members of India’s film fraternity are expected to arrive Tuesday, including, Saif Ali Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Mukesh Bhatt, David Dhawan, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, musicians Pritam Chakraborty, Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani, Loy Mendonsa and fashion designers Manish Malhotra and Vikram Phadnis.
